Developing from what were either modest hobbyists or highly specialised providers, access to more advanced quality drones has expanded their usability across many industries, with photography no exception. Used effectively, drones can offer an array of functions from aerial photography, to fly-throughs, tracking shots and video and photography right in the action, to name but a few. In order to get the best results from the use of drones within photography, I believe that this powerful technology must be paired with technique. Working across several sectors, I have developed my use of drone photography to complement photography and videography projects, always careful to ensure the use of this technology does nothing but elevate the results I achieve.
